I've spent a fortune on search engine optimisation and have bought
loads of software and services to get my web pages indexed and in
the top 10 results list. What I found difficult was finding software
that could quickly track how well my websites were performing on the
major search engines .
I needed to find out how many web pages link to my site, how many
pages are actually indexed and off course the Google Page Rank. I
also wanted to compare my website to the websites of my competitors
I could find loads of websites that provided a solution to answer
one or the other question but none that did all 4. I've got loads of
websites and tracking was a real problem for me. Disillusioned I
decided to write my own. I've called it INDEXA.
INDEXA Link Popularity Check is written in JAVA which means that it
will run on Windows, Solaris, MAC and LINUX operating systems. You
will need download and install the free JAVA runtime environment
before installing INDEXA. Installing JAVA takes about 1 minute.
Installing INDEXA less than 1 minute.
INDEXA Link Popularity Check is a freeware program. What does
Freeware mean? It means that you don't pay a penny to download and
use it!

1. Enter the URL of your web site and the URLs of your competitors or add a
large list of URLS from a text file.
2. Click the "Update All" button. INDEXA Link Popularity Check will check the
status of these web sites. It's that easy!
3. The download version of INDEXA Link Popularity Check is limited to checking 4
domain names and 2 search engines. To enter an unlimited number of domain names
and check 7 search engines all you need to do is register your name and email
address.
4. Why do I ask you to register? Well, the first reason is that the search
engines periodically change the formulae for checking PR, pages indexed and
pages linked. The second reason is that I'm looking at ways to improve INDEXA
Link Popularity Check. In both cases I will need to be able to send you the
latest information or software. The alternative is for you to check on my
website periodically for new updates. I think you will agree I have chosen a
